#10 Pepper Mix

The #10 plays two roles here: (1) it was the 10th version of this recipe and (2) it is a combination of 5 dried chile peppers and 5 types of peppercorns. I add in my signature blend of garlic and onion to balance the flavors of this seasoning. Instead of using regular black pepper, I use #10 Pepper Mix for a slightly spicier and well rounded flavor profile. This will become a pepper lovers go-to seasoning to get that extra kick of pepper flavor.

Rub.

Use it as a straight substitution anytime you reach for black pepper. It will give your rub an extra burst of smokey, pungent, floral, and spicy flavors and aromas.

Season.

Take the table top pepper grinder off the table and put #10 Pepper Mix in its place. Scrambled or fried eggs are a perfect match for #10 Pepper Mix. Chef loves using this in pepper gravy for biscuits and gravy.
